So last week was my first episode going solo on the LEt's Be Honest radio show. Not having Lana, or another guest, there to converse with was certainly...different. The experience of speaking alone, out loud for almost fifteen minutes was a first for me. In this recent episode suitably titled: What Are You Afraid Of?, I spoke about this irony that the achievements in life we most want, may in fact be what we also most fear. So what can we do about it? Listen here in case you missed it (Always available on iTunes or Stitcher)
Today we will take this topic even further as we are in for real treat with my guest The Unstoppable Frankie Picasso. Frankie Picasso is a Solution Specialist, a Certified Life, Business and Master Coach Trainer who specializes in the Impossible!!! About seven years ago, Frankie barely lived through a horrific motorcycle accident where she sustained major injury and spent the next five and a half months in the hospital, and while recuperating, suffered through many losses, both physical and emotional. Life as she knew it, was stripped away, one painful piece at a time. To combat depression and pain, Frankie picked up her laptop and worked toward an online certificate in coaching, all while keeping a positive outlook and a fierce determination that all would be OK! Today, Frankie lives with chronic pain but doesn’t let that stop her from living life as one big Mission Unstoppable! Her book is Midlife Mojo: How to get through the midlife crisis and emerge as your true self (iUniverse 2008). Her most recent is No Bull Allowed- How to Lose the Losers and Lasso in Love (Amazon Kindle 2011). “I believe that often we bring limited thinking and negativity to problem solving. There are always solutions but sometimes they call for a bit more effort, knowledge and creative thinking than we are willing or able to expend”, Frankie says. Frankie loves to work with entrepreneurs, small businesses, individuals and corporations to create an atmosphere of unlimited possibilities. She specializes in the Impossible and champions anyone to turn their dreams, goals and desires into Unstoppable Outcomes. http://www.unstoppablefrankiepicasso.com The other cool thing she did is start this incredible radio and website platform called The Good Radio Network , which advocates "for a socially conscious world with purpose and drive till the end. She created a different landscape for activists and advocates where ACTION is what gets things done- in a good way!" There is a lot of awesome information and inspiration we will cover that will for sure help you get and stay motivated with your own life changing or world changing ideas. If Frankie can do it after hitting her ifetime low, then so can we. Tune in to the Let's Be Honest Show today at 3:00pm est. and Meet the Unstoppable Frankie Picasso! Love and Light, Danielle

We can want something really badly, but what if that very thing terrifies us? Sometimes the very things we want the most, are what we most fear.
We almost didn't have a show today as it is Spring break for some of us. BUT, I decided I had enough inspiration this week to do a first mini episode on my own and appropriately titled, What are YOU Afraid of.
Lana and I had a ball with last week's episode on Confidence: Easy Tips specifically in the entrepreneurial world. I will recap it here: Set your intention by answering these questions: What do I Feel? What do I want. Then remember these three steps: Be Equal: don't put ANYONE on a pedestal because reciprocal connection will not be possible Be Real: know that you do have something unique to say. Contribute: don't go after what you can get. Go after what you can give with your message Listen Here for all the details and real life examples. it really does work!
For some of us, tomorrow is the holiday of Passover, which commemorates the freedom of the Israelites from decades of slavery in Egypt. In honor of that theme of liberation, how cool would it be to be free of a different blight of mental slavery, perfectionism. There is nothing like a good ol' fashion reality check when zeroing in on someone else's major flaws, really also shines a light on yours. I also want to share that our first Wine and Cheese For Women Entrepreneurs and Inspirations went even better then I had imagined! Liz and I are moved to do this once a quarter, so email us directly if you want to be included on the next invite list. Have a beautiful day!
So THAT was cool! A few months ago, I got done reading an excellent book on relationships by an internationally known NY Times Best-Selling celebrity author and I just interviewed her for my last podcast! In case you missed last's week episode with Laura Doyle, "World's #1 Trusted Relationship Coach" click HERE and listen in on Laura's candor on the "5 Forgotten Gifts of Feminine Power." (Why women must stop trying to run their lives the way men do) She reminds us what it means to really be a woman! I was so impressed!
This experience was so inspiring that I am moved to keep shooting for those stars, because sometimes you get them! Why not ask if GIRLS Creator, Star and Director, Lena Dunham, is up for an interview? Or Emmy Winning Producer and Comedy Writer Ilana Wernick from King of Queens and Modern Family. It may or may not come to fruition, but unless you don't show up and try, you can't ever know. Like I said before, if you want to win the lottery, you are gonna have to at least buy a ticket. So with this spirit, our next topic is on Confidence: the Three Easy and Quick Tricks You Need to Get Out of Your Shell and Make Things Happen Anytime and Anywhere. Today LIVE @3pm. Have a beautiful day!
Guess who's coming to the Let's Be Honest Podcast Radio Show today LIVE at 3:00pm? It's the "world's #1 trusted relationship coach" herself, Ms. Laura Doyle! They have been married for 26 years. And now Laura is coming to our radio show to answer some very candid questions on marriage and relationships, nothing is off topic. In the meantime, should you wish to listen or download to last week's podcast on How to Keep Our Cups Filled, When Our Plates are FULL Already, with special guest Anna Georges of Be Unique Movement, find it here Have a beautiful day! Love and Light,
Hello! Spring is finally here and it's my favorite season. There are blooms of change all around us and it is inspiring!
So, last week during our podcast on Relationships, with our special guest Dr. Christine Bacon, we talked about lessons to aspire from in the Story of Esther. Sometimes we need others to see in ourselves what maybe we can't yet see on our own. Listen or download Here, We also talked about the ultimate goals in a thriving marriage from Dr. Bacon's book, The Super Couple, which is to strive to be "selfless" in the relationship. But, how easy is it to be selfless, when our own cups maybe empty while our life/family plate is full? Join us today at 3:00pm with special guest, Anna Georges, as we discuss crucial ways to keep our own cups of creativity, fulfillment, and pleasure FULL so it is all the more easy to GIVE. Anna is a Mama, Performer, Younique Beauty Consultant and founder of Be Unique Movement- a social media movement that gives busy artistic women the strategies they need to do their art every day. Anna and Lana will also share candidly, exactly how they are managing to keep their cups full, despite the added challenges of being military spouses. It's gonna be a great show with a great take away. Lastly,, in case you missed it, the Let's Be Honest Radio Show is now on iTune's list of "New and Noteworthy, so a big thanks to YOU for making that happen! Have a beautiful day! Love and Light,
HI Danielle,
Two weeks earlier we spoke about Unexpected Surprises: When Things Actually Go Our Way and Also When They Don't..Listen here. Then last week we spoke about what it feels like to be caught in a storm of OverWhelm: Mayday! Mayday! My Ship is Sinking. Listen Here. This is life friends. A week of high can follow a week of low and vice versa. There are ebbs and flows and cycles all around us all the time. The only thing constant in life is change. So what stabilizing forces are available that can help keep us grounded during all this evolution? Well, besides our own faith, we also have important relationships with the people we care about. Having strong, reliable and supportive relationships can be some of the best armor we have to combat a big life hurtle. The signifcance of relationships also ties in nicely with the Story of Esther found in both the Torah and the First Testament. Queen Esther faced some major challenges in her time and it was her faith, grace, and relationships that changed the course of history for the Jewish People and the nations that followed. We have our special guest Christine Beacon, joining us tomorrow on our Let's Be Honest Radio Show, who happens to be called "The Relationship Doctor" on her own radio show "Breakfast with Bacon." Dr. Bacon is a communication expert and owner of CMB Communication. She is an author, speaker, and trainer who has two decades of experience leading seminars on various topics from conflict, anger and stress management to her acclaimed Super Couple seminars which teach the science of extreme happiness in marriage. Bacon received her M.A. and Ph.D. in Communication from Regent University and B.A. in Communication from Old Dominion University. Her doctoral dissertation merged marital humor and experience with her desire to teach individuals and couples how to build and nurture "Super" marriages. SHOUT OUT to my fabulous listeners who gave me yet another delightful UNEXPECTED surprise this week. Tune in to find out what ya'll did! Love and Light,
So often, we seek explanations for when things don't go our way, but also, when things do, are explanations as important? Or, can we just say "Who Hoo, and Thank You!"
I was inspired by an unanticipated delightful surprise from YOU, my own listeners and subscribers who almost overnight last week, qualified my "following" numbers to be considered for IHeartRadio, a huge music and podcast platform. That was fantastic! Also, another wonderful surprise, half of you listening are men! I love it! You gentlemen are clearly evolved because you know that understanding a female's perspective will only enhance your life and love:) We also spoke about surprises that happen, which are not delightful, but rather awful, scary, even tragic. I shared my personal story of our shock that happened after I had just given birth to our second daughter Aura, To our alarm, she was rushed to the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) for life-saving treatment and all we could do as parents was wait and pray. Out of that experience, I was asked by the medical staff to write a children's picture book that included education, resources, and supportive family exercises to enhance communication during this time of uncertainty for baby and family. Waiting For Emma: A Brother's Story (For Siblings and Families with Babies in the NICU) was created and this now multi-award winning and Amazon #1 best selling book is here to help even more families then before. I didn't know it at the time, but that was the "golden nugget" resulting from that unpredicted and scary experience. My beautiful, gregarious, daughter Aura is now five and this was just a minor blimp on our family timeline. Nevertheless, it was still life-changing.
Today I am inspired to talk about Finding the Compassion for Others When It's Not So Easy To Do So. As it goes, some of the most significant people in our lives can give us the greatest joy and inspiration and also the most difficult struggles and miserable pain.
How can we see others beyond the pain they cause, and why it does us good to do so?
In today's episode, Lana and I are inspired to discuss ways to better our moods when we are just not in the mood. In other words, How Can We Raise Our Vibration When We Are Feeling Low. Yep, that's the topic. Whether we are stuck in our own web of negative self talk or influenced by another's temperament, we have all been there. I'm sure you can relate. Tune in for some insight, humor and of course HONESTY. By the way, since we are LIVE, and if you are by a computer, go ahead and send us a comment or question while we are on the air, we'd love to hear from YOU.
